Online Advertising Producer 2004 - 2006

Working with a team of consultants, I developed interface widget APIs from static designs that I supplied. Assisted in all steps of web development by providing design recommendations, thumbnail sketches, digital sketches, programming and dealt with clients via phone and emailed correspondence. Dealt with sales reps and consultants to create Flash banners for over 30 clients and websites for over 20 local clients. I created a streamlined method of templating Flash banners, which reduced the turnaround time for banner production by 50%. I also created or recreated 90% of the graphics used in the banners.

While working for The Savannah Morning News, I've had the chance to install/work with CMS tools like dotProject and Drupal. I've also made simple "blogs" for the news reporters who needed to post to the website while in public.

• Dreamweaver to code HTML/DHTML/SHTML/PHP/XHTML/CSS. I’ve become very strict when it comes to writing HTML/XHTML and CSS. Since XHTML is becoming more of a standard, I’ve gone through several of my clients’ websites and cleaned up the code to be XHTML compliant and I use CSS on a daily basis. I’ve also used Dreamweaver extensions to create websites that use PHP to connect to mySQL databases.
• phpMyAdmin to set up tables within mySQL databases.
• Photoshop and ImageReady to create website mockups, animated gifs, images for Flash, and to manipulate photographs.
• Illustrator to recreate logos, create icons, vector images for Flash, and to create flow charts for websites.

Worked in a production team to develop a breast cancer recovery multimedia CD. I produced an interactive tutorial in Flash by utilizing Illustrator to create vector images with maximum file compression.
